In this heart-wrenching video, Ning Nong, a defenceless monkey, endures a series of degrading stunts designed to amuse tourists. The footage captures the monkey being forced to lift heavy metal weights and perform acrobatics like sit-ups and press-ups. These acts are unnecessary and cruelty, stripping Ning Nong of its dignity and freedom.

Concerns Raised by Animal Welfare Organizations

A few organizations dedicated to animal welfare recently released a video featuring Ning Nong’s plight at Phuket Zoo. The distressing footage reveals that cruel individuals inflicted cruelty upon Ning Nong by forcing him to perform degrading stunts and endure training under distressing conditions. They tied up the monkey and trained him to perform meaningless tricks to entertain visitors. Moreover, welfare representatives have expressed grave concerns about Ning Nong’s well-being, highlighting the removal of its teeth, which has left the monkey defenceless. This revelation further emphasizes the urgent need for action against the mistreatment of monkeys in Thailand’s wildlife tourism industry.

The Cruelty and Exploitation of Ning Nong

Ning Nong, who once brought joy and liveliness, has become nothing more than a mere toy, forced to perform meaningless tricks for profit. The handlers inflict cruelty upon Ning Nong by forcing it to perform degrading stunts and endure training under distressing conditions.

We must stop this exploitation and promote better treatment of animals. Those who support activities involving animals are responsible for reassessing their stance and championing their well-being.

Call to Action: Ending Unethical Treatment

Just like any other animal, monkeys are not inclined to engage in activities that are demeaning and serve no purpose. For instance, they do not enjoy walking on their hind legs, wearing clothes, riding bikes, or performing pointless tricks. Moreover, forcing them to do such things for human entertainment is unethical and cruel.

Additionally, circus trainers have conditioned these animals to fear the consequences of non-compliance and have subjected them to brutal training techniques. Consequently, these methods break the spirits of these intelligent creatures, summoning them to a life of suffering.
